GPESP: Subsidy Base Calculation with Variable CLI VR MET CLC BRD = 2 - Incorrect Calculation For Absences (Doc ID 2904772.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 24, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While running the payroll for part-time employees, an issue is identified with the calculated BRD used for the subsidy calculation when in case of variable value setup with 2  (CLI VR MET CLC BRD =2).

In this case, the system is not calculating the correct BRDs for subsidy calculation in the absence processing and hence, wrong subsidy is producing.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Employee rehired as of 03/17/2021
Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data
2. Paternity leave is included in June 2021
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absences > Absence Event ESP
3. Initially, the variable CLI VR MET CLC BRD is setup with a value 1
Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Elements > Supporting Elements > Variables > Definition
4. After running the payroll, it takes the value of the sum of the bases of the previous 12 months divided by 365, regardless of the drop and rehire it has in March 2021
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll
5. Now modify the value of the variable CLI VR MET CLC BRD from 1 to 2:
And different results are generated, but it still does not take into account the last hire date for the calculation of the base.
