GPCHE 'SQL error in Exec. (2,280)', When Try To Execute ELM Ping/Interop Without Configuring ProxyURL and Port in 'Online Processing Setup CHE'. (Doc ID 2904827.1)

Symptoms

Unable to execute ELM ping due to application coding errors.  
Users facing an integration issue/unsuccessful response while performing the ELM Ping/Interop when without configuring proxyURL and port. Hence, facing SQL error due to invalid response in soap message.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation: Menu> Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Framework > Online Processing Setup CHE
2. Delete the values of both:
          ELMTransmit  proxyHostURL
          ELMTransmit  proxyPort
3. Save.
4. Navigation: Menu > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Authority Correspondence > Monthly XML CHE
5. Click on the 'Ping' button
6. Select the 'Ping' radio button and click 'OK'.
