E-WF: No Emails are Sent and Getting 'Authentication Failed' Errors When Sending Approval Workflow Emails (Doc ID 2904848.1)

After configuring OCI and configuring the smtp settings in the application server configuration file, when testing using the Notify button in PIA, no emails are sent and getting errors in the smtp.log below:


Sample Environment
PeopleTools: 8.58.20
Application : FSCM 9.2 PUM Image 39
OCI Test environment

Replication Steps

1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Workflow > Defaults and Messages > Send Worklist/Email Messages
2. Select Email radio button
3. Click the Notify button
4. Type the email address in the 'To:' section or the recipient address, then add a sample test Subject and a test Message.
5. Click OK
6. The recipient did not receive any emails and there are errors in the smtp.log


Customer migrated their PeopleSoft application to OCI.
