GPCHE: The Source Tax (QST) Monthly XML Report Is Rejected by Swiss Authorities Because of Missing Spouse Country Details (Doc ID 2905846.1)

Symptoms

The Source Tax (QST) Monthly XML report can't be submitted to Swiss Authorities specially for Canton Ticino because of the missing Spouse Country details. The report is successfully generated but is rejected by Swiss Authorities.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Test Case 1 (HOME address CHE)
1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Personal Relationships > Dependent Information
    Add spouse data for effective date 01-FEB-2021
    Do not check Same Address as Employee and add an address for Country <> CHE. 
2. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain Source Tax Data CHE
    Add new effective date 01-FEB-2021;
    Add spouse data to Dependent Data grid;
 
Test Case 2 (HOME address <> CHE)
1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Personal Relationships > Dependent Information
    Add spouse data for effective date 01-FEB-2021
    Check Same Address as Employee 
2. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain Source Tax Data CHE
    Add new effective date 01-FEB-2021;
    Add spouse data to Dependent Data grid;
 
3. Calculate and confirm Payroll for KW 2021M01 [01-Jan-21 to 31-JAN-21]
4. Calculate and confirm Payroll for KW 2021M02 [01-FEB-21 to 28-FEB-21]
5. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Authority Correspondence > XML based reporting CHE > Monthly XML CHE and execute the process for domain id 15 and company KW2.
6. Review XML result.
