E-PC: Component with Side Page Won't Load Through DoModalComponentPopup (Doc ID 2906412.1)

Symptoms

A component with a side page won't be displayed when trying to access a component through DoModalComponentPopup PeopleCode. When the component is opened via regular navigation it works as expected with the side page 1 on the left. 

Steps to replicate:

  1. Add DoModalComponentPopup PeopleCode that transfers to a component
  2. When the component is opened using the DoModalComponentPopup, the side page 1 is not displayed at all, not even collapsed.
