EAR 9.2: AR_UPDATE2 Fails for Payment at Step AR_REV_EST.CADST_AB.CA_DSTAB With an Error “Unique Constraint (SYSADM.PS_RE_BI_DST_TAO14) Violated” When the Item Is From Contracts With Commitment Control (Doc ID 2906945.1)

Symptoms

AR_UPDATE2 failed for payment for the item from contracts with commitment control with the following error:

Replication Steps:
-----------------------

1. Enabled commitment control for AR, Billing, GL and project accounting. (setup financials - Installation options - products)
2. Enter a contract with amount based contact line and milestone, event-based bill plan. (Customer contract - Define contract general information)
3. Activate contract, bill plan and one bill plan event.
4. Run CA_Load_GL1. (Customer Contracts - Schedule and Process - Revenue Process Fixed Amount Revenue)
5. Run CABIDIR1 job to load data in Billing and send the bill to AR. ( Customer Contracts -Schedule and Process -Billing -Process Other Billing Methods)
6. Run ARUPDATE to post the item. ( Accounts Receivable - Receivables Update -Request Receivables Update)
7. Go to Review Revenue > Plans, Select revenue plan, select Reversal in Progress then Update Plan Status pushbutton ( Customer Contracts - Review Revenue Plans)
8. Run CA_Load_GL1 again.
9. Unassign the reversed revenue plan from the contract. Assign a new milestone revenue plan with multiple events. (Customer contract - Define contract general information)
10. Run CA_Load_GL1 again.
11. Create a deposit in AR. (Account receivable - Payments - Online payment - Create deposit.
12. Appy payment and run Run ARUPDATE for the item from step 6.
13. ARUPDATE will fail with the error.
