When Saving a New Effective Dated Row to a Charge Priority List An Error Is Returned: "The following Nodes overlap: XXX overlaps with YYY. The charge priority list cannot be saved" (Doc ID 2907878.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add an effective dated row to an existing Charge Priority List an error is returned to the user on the page. This seems to have started after applying CS 9.2.026 which included Bug 34014272 - ALLOW CHARGE PRIORITY LIST DETAILS PAGE TO SORT BY PRIORITY.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup SACR > Product Related > Student Financials > Charges and Payments > Charge Priority List
  2. Query the Charge Priority List
  3. Enter updates and click Save
  4. The error is returned on the page in a pop up window

This issue started after applying Campus Solutions Patch CS 9.2.026.
