EGL9.2: Erroneous Message in Reconciliation Workbench When Clicking on Notify (Doc ID 2908969.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After searching in Reconciliation workbench, and then getting the results - the user clicks on Notify and gets an erroneous message:

"You have unsaved data on this page, (67,16)
You must save this data before sending a Notification."

Customer clicks on save search and then clicks on Notify again - and this time the notify page comes up.

If you get out of the workbench and pull up the same inquiry and go through the same steps again - you still get the above message even though the search was previously saved.

In either scenario - you should not have to click on save in order to click on Notify.

ERROR:

You must save this data before sending a Notification.
