Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SUPPLIER Portal is used to upload invoices for eSettlements. The file is uploaded into a directory defined by UNIX environment variable PS_FILEDIR. However, the Load Attachment Invoices process for File attachments, expects the file to be in directory defined in Administer File Attachment. After uploading an invoice using Load Attachment Invoice, an error is received when trying to view the file attachment.

ERROR
Attachment failed to download. (18036,10014) File not found (18036,10012)

STEPS

1. SUPPLIER Portal is used to Upload Invoices. File is uploaded into a directory defined by UNIX environment variable PS_FILEDIR. However, the Load Attachment Invoices process for File attachments, expects the file to be in directory defined in Administer File Attachment.

2. Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > File Attachments > Administer File Attachments > Active Server = 1, Type = FTP, Server/Record Name/URLID = xxxx.hchd.local, Path = PV, Search URL Equivalent PSSESATT_1

3. Login as Supplier > Supplier Secure Home Page > click on Invoices and Payments tile > click Upload Invoices tile > upload a file

4. This puts the file in the directory defined in $ PS_FILEDIR. PC is EX_CXML_ADD_WRK.ATTACHEMENTS.PB.FieldFormula - Function GetFileDirectory(&default)

5. When the file name is inserted into the attachment table, the code uses directory name specified in the File attachment page. It also renames the file with prefixing file name with UserID and timestamp, i.e., file TESTPO601-2.XML is renamed as ESUP105092022-10-03-20.27.07.757TESTPO601-2.xml. The file placed in $PS_FILEDIR is just TESTPO601-2.XML.

6. Click on the file uploaded to view and error is received, Attachment failed to download. (18036,10014) File not found. (18036,10012)
