Bidder Profile Contact Update Does Not Reflect In User Profile (Doc ID 2915132.1)

Symptoms


Bidder user contact profile change doesn't get reflected on the user description, however it is working fine for the user email id

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to : Supplier Portal > User registration > Request a bidder ID and register a new bidder.
  2. Navigate to : Supplier Portal > Sign in and sign in as bidder contact.
  3. Add a new bidder contact and save.
  4. Navigate to : Supplier Portal > Sign in and sign in as the second bidder contact.
  5. Change bidder contact last name and email address then save.
  6. Now navigate to : Peopletools > Security > User profiles> User Profiles> and open the second bidder contact profile.
  7. Notice that the email ID is getting update but the user last name(description) is not.
