Symptoms

On a submitted Custom Grants Proposal Form, When clicking on the "Document Key String" that is pointing to the GM_PROPOSAL component, the search page for GM_PROPOSAL comes up with incorrect values. This is incorrect. The expectation is to open the proposal itself rather than the search page. Also, the label of the link should have been "EGV05/CON000000000XXX/V101" instead of "Document Key String".

The values passed for the search record GM_PROPOSAL are populated as follows.

GM_PROP_SRCH.OPRID Value=EGV05, GM_PROP_SRCH.BUSINESS_UNIT Value=CON000000000XXX and GM_PROP_SRCH.PROPOSAL_ID Value=V101

Replication Steps:

  1. Design a form with some fields that are related to GM_PROPOSAL. Prompt records are set up.
  2. Do the Form to CI Collection Mapping using - Main Menu > Enterprise Components> Forms > Map Form to Component Intfrc. Associated the form to CI - GM_PROPOSAL_INTEGRATION_CI, Record - GM_PROPOSAL and Menu - ESTABLISH_PROPOSAL. About 20 fields were mapped to the proposal-related fields.
  3. Activate the form.
  4. Create a Form using Fluid Home > Employee Self Service > My Forms - Fill Out a new Form. Select the form and enter the data and submit it for approval.
  5. Once approved, Save & Post the Form.
  6. You will notice that a section appears at the bottom of the form "Related Documents". A link is seen with the label "Document Key String". This is incorrect. It should display as "EGV05/CON000000000XXX/V101" indicating the Business Unit/Proposal/Version.
  7. When the link "Document Key String" in the section is clicked, the Maintain Proposal Search page comes up with BUSINESS_UNIT Value=CON000, PROPOSAL_ID Value=V101 and VERSION ID Value=V101. This is incorrect. The expectation is to open the proposal itself rather than the search page. Looks like the values passed to the search records are incorrect.
