Symptoms

Download Grid to Excel or Run Query to Excel generates informational logging entries in the application server's stderr file (<PS_CFG_HOME>/appserv/<DOMAIN>/LOGS/stderr). The stderr file gets too big, in a short period of time.

In the application server log directory, file stderr keeps growing bigger and bigger. Lots of informational messages are being logged from queries that are run to Excel and whenever a user downloads grid data to Excel. That happens regardless of tracing or logging options settings for the application server or process scheduler.
The file is reaching sizes in Gibabytes and are becoming a big issue in the server, 'stealing' disk space and preventing proper troubleshooting on actual issues/errors that would be written to the file.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Users login to the system and start using it as per their normal activities.
2. As queries are run to Excel or grid data is downloaded to Excel, observe all the logging that is done to the stderr file and how fast it grows, reaching the order of GB.
