Symptoms

Downloading new PeopleTools 8.60 patches for Linux and Windows in Cloud Manager (CM) through automated channel subscriptions fails due to password error.

The below error can be seen on the Download Subscriptions page:


An error occurred while downloading packages for channel <Tools_XXX_LINUX/WINDOWS>
Password for one or more patches are invalid. Please update the password, unsubscribe and subscribe the channel again to retry download. Refer My Oracle Support for more information and contact support for password.




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Cloud Manager and click on the Repository Tile.
2. Click on Channel Subscriptions and make sure that you have subscription to the appropriate channel.
3. Download the new patches.
4. Notice that the downloads fail with the password error.
