HCM Fluid Job Data: Missing Indicator for Fluid Job Data Notes (Doc ID 2922929.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the Notes (comments) are added to Fluid Job Data at the Job Actions Summary level using the related actions button, there is no indicator (Image or Icon) indicating that a note actually exists for that row.

Steps to replicate the issue:

   1. Navigate to Workforce Administrator Fluid Homepage > Manage Job Tile : check Correct History and search for an Employee.
   2. Click on the Related Actions symbol for each row to see that they all include a Notes link.
   3. Add a new note for one of the Job Data rows : Related Actions Symbol > Notes link.
   4. Review the Job Actions Summary. There is no indication that a note exists on any of the Job Data rows.
   5. Click the Related Actions symbol. There is no indication that a note exists on any of her Job Data rows. Still shows the same Notes link that existed prior to adding a note.
   6. Navigate to Classic Navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data.
Notice that the Employee's Job Data Row shows an indicator on the notepad that a note exists.

Changes

This functionality was available in Classic Job Data, however it was missing from Fluid Job Data interface.
