Enhancement Remote Worker: New Manager Or Remote Worker Administrators Cannot Delete Remote Worker Request in DRAFT Status (Doc ID 2923010.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A Remote Worker Request created by a terminated manager that is in 'Draft' status cannot be deleted by Administrator or by the New manager.

The row can only be deleted by the User(Manager) who added the row in DRAFT mode. But in cases where the manager is terminated or if the employee is moved under a new manager, the row cannot be removed.

The new Manager is not able to add a new request either.

Steps to replicate the issue:

   1. Navigate to Manager Self Service Fluid Home Page > Remote Worker Tile > Select a Direct Report
   2. Create a new Remote Worker Request and do not submit it, it will remain in DRAFT status
   3. The employee for which the Remote Worker Request has been initiated, has a position change: Workforce Administration Fluid Homepage > Manage Job > Create Job Action: Add a new Position with a new manager
Notice: The new Manager can see the employee in the Remote Worker tile but the “Delete” button is disabled since the requestor was the previous Manager
