Symptoms

When activating an amendment to reclassify the Payable lease from Operating to Financial, the following error occurred:

Steps to replicate:

1.Find an existing operating lease.
   Menu > Lease Administration > Payable Leases > Maintain Payable Lease.

2.Add an amendment with the following options:
      Remeasurement is selected Yes.
      Reassess Classification is selected as Yes.

3.Update the base rent and the lease termination date.

4.Reclassify the leased asset from Operational to Finance

5.Save the Amendment.

6. Process the Depreciation for the leased asset.
      Menu > Asset Management > Depreciation > processing > Calculate Depreciation.

7. Activate the amendment, the above error occurs.
     Menu > Lease Administration > Payable Leases > Maintain Payable Lease.
