When Merging Applicants the Attachments That Are Specific To a Job Opening Are Assigned To All Job Openings Causing Duplicates. (Doc ID 2925049.1)

Symptoms

When merging applicants, attachments defined specific to a job opening should remain the same instead of be attached to all avoiding duplicate attachments.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Login to PeopleSoft as Recruiting Manager.
  2. Go to: Recruiting > Search Applicants and search for an Applicant with two profiles: External Applicant and Employee (Internal)
  3. Employee should have Attachments for a specific Job ID and another for All, p.e. Transcript type.
  4. External should have Attachments for a specific Job ID and another for All.
  5. Go to Recruiting > Administration > Process Duplicate Applicants > Process Duplicate Applicants and Create a New Search to find the External and Internal records.
  6. Go to Merge Applicants page.
  7. Set Source: Internal Applicant.
  8. Set Target: External Applicant
  9. Click Add Applicant.
