EMM: The Asset ID Description Is Not Displayed on the Work Order Actuals Tab if the Asset ID Business Unit (Asset Unit) Doesn’t Match the Work Order Business Unit (Doc ID 2925227.1)

Symptoms

While creating a New Work Order, the Asset ID Description is not displayed on the Work Order Actuals Tab if the Asset ID Business Unit (Asset Unit) doesn't match the Work Order Business Unit


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a New Work Order
Navigation: Maintenance Management > Work Order Management > Work Order
2. Go to the Schedules Tab and click on the Tools Link
3. Add an Asset and the associated/required details
4. Save the Work Order and navigate to the Actuals Tab
Notice that the Asset Description is missing.
