Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an Administrator terminates an employee whose primary job indicator is on a non-zero empl_rcd, the Termination Date is not populated.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data.
2. Select an Employee who has multiple assignments and  empl_rcd = 0 is not the Primary Job.
3. Terminate Empl_rcd 0 and one of the assignments which has the Job Indicator set to 'Primary Job' by adding a new Row on Job data Page.
4. Query the Record PS_JOB : SELECT * FROM PS_JOB WHERE EMPLID = 'ABC'.
Found that the TERMINATION_DATE is not populated in assignment record only on the empl_rcd 0.
