E-PIA: Required Field Greyed out in Configurable Search

Symptoms
After upgrading from PT 8.60.02 to PT 8.60.03, when trying to setup Configurable Search, the required field are grayed out and can not be changed although in PT 8.60.02 the fields can be changed.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Utilities > Manage Configurable.
2. Search for the component Purchase Order and.
3. Select the one with the navigation path of Purchasing > Purchase Orders> Review PO Information > Purchase Orders.
4. Leave all values as defaults and click Load Fields button.
5. Observe in the Grid, the Business Unit and the PO are set to required and are greyed out.
