'Error: Unable to open INPUT: upd33234548_03.dat' in .log File for the Data Mover Import UPD33234548_03_IMP_DMS step in Change Assistant When Applying Image 28 Change Package That Includes Bug Fix 34669403 (Doc ID 2927521.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to apply a change package including the fix for <Bug 34669403>, the following error occurs on the Data Mover Import UPD33234548_03_IMP_DMS step in Change Assistant, as indicated in the log file for that step.

Other than the one step, Change Assistant successfully executes all the other steps.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Using the Peoplesoft Update Manager (PUM), Create Change package that includes the fix for <Bug 34669403> - TRANSLATED VERSION OF BUG 34660043 - ADDITIONAL UPDATES FOR NAC AND ISIR - PART 3.
  2. Apply the Package using Change Assistant to a target environment;
  3. In change assistant, the process halts on the 'Running Data Mover Import UPD33234548_03_IMP_DMS' step which is preceded by the red 'X' indicating an error.
  4. Click into the details for the step and open the upd33234548_03_imp.log to see the error message.
