E-CLOUD: Upgrade PeopleTools in Cloud Manager Fails with Error: raise PsftDPKNotFoundException({"error_code" "15705", (Doc ID 2928215.1)

Symptoms

Performing a PeopleTools Upgrade to an environment fails on PeopleSoft Cloud Manager (CM) during the Database Upgrade step.

The following can be found on the /home/psadm2/psft/data/cloud/cmlogs/envs/<ENVTNAME>/PTU_PEOPLETOOLS_UPGRADE/<log_directory>/remote_out.log

 

 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy the environment using Cloud Manager. For example, the instance runs on PT 8.59.13 upgrading to PT 8.60.02. 
2. Go to Repository > Download Subscription and subscribe to the Linux and Windows channels. 
3. Navigate to Environments > Upgrade PeopleTools to start the process in upgrading to PT 8.60.02.
4. Notice that the Database Upgrade fails.
