An Extra Space Added To NAME Field On PS_NAMES Table After CS PUM Image 28 (Doc ID 2930278.1)

Symptoms

On Campus Solutions 9.2.028 an extra space is being inserted after a name is changed or added to the PS_NAMES table.

The name field on all rows in the PS_NAMES tables are being updated incorrectly as well and the NAME field is always updated/displayed with the extra space.

It is expected no trailing spaces will be added to a Name.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person
  2. Query a person
  3. Click on the Names link
  4. Make a change, Submit and Save
  5. Re-query the person
  6. The name is now displayed with a space before the comma separating the first and last names 

 

Changes

This began after applying the Update CS 9.2.028.
