Symptoms
Employee was taxed in OR but lives and works in WA. OR FML/EE is not refunded when calculated an online paycheck for the refund.
Steps to reproduce the issue
1. Verify Employee Tax Data (Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data):
Effective Date: 01/01/2023
State OR - Resident and UI Jurisdiction selected.
Other Program Details : P001- Paid Medical Family Leave - Active - Subject
2. Verify Employee Tax Distribution (Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Tax Distribution)
State OR 100%
3. Calculate payroll. OR FML/EE and FML/ER is calculated.
4. Confirm Payroll.
5. Create a new effective date on Employee Tax Data(01/15/2023) and change the State to WA ( Resident and UI Jurisdiction selected)
6. Update Tax Distribution to WA with 100%
7. Create an online check to refund the OR FML/EE:
Select the One-Tome Tax link:
State:OR
Tax Class: Paid Fam Med Leave Ins EE
One-Time Code: Refund
One-Time Amount: 5.86
8. Calculate and Save the online check.
9. Reviewing the online check:
On Taxes section:
State OR - Tax Class FML/EE - Tax Amount -5.86
Total Tax: 0.00
Net Pay:0.00
