E-IB: Integration Gateway's msgLog.html and errorLog.html Files are not Rotated and Deleted Automatically per maxSize and maxNbBackupFile Values (Doc ID 2932501.1)

Symptoms

Sample Environment:

PeopleTools 8.59.11 (upgraded from Tools 8.57.24)
HCM 9.2 PUM 27, PIH 9.1 PUM 14  Prod/dev/test environments
Linux platform

Issue:
-------
After upgrading to PeopleTools 8.59.11, the Integration gateway's errorLog.html and msgLog.html file retention is not being performed. The files are not being rotated and purged per the setup in the gateway properties. Pre-upgrade environments do not have this issue.

Below is an example of the maxSize and maxNbBackupFiles properties from the IntegrationGateway.properties file.

# Message Logging
#
# Name of the file used to output message logs {Can be set to the same or different file as error logs location}

# Maximum size of Message Log in KB (default 10,000 or 10MB)
# (the current log will be saved to the same directory when this limit is reached)
ig.messageLog.maxSize=10000

# Number of Message Backup files to keep on disk.(0 will keep all backed up files)
ig.messageLog.maxNbBackupFiles=5


# Error Logging
#
# Name of the file used to output error logs {Can be set to the same or different file as message logs location}

# Maximum size of Error Log in KB (default 1,000 or 1MB)
# (the current log will be saved to the same directory when this limit is reached)
ig.errorLog.maxSize=1000

# Number of Error Backup files to keep on disk.(0 will keep all backed up files)
ig.errorLog.maxNbBackupFiles=5

Changes

 PeopleTools upgrade to 8.59.11 from 8.57.24.
