EAR9.2."View Attachment" And "Approval Chain" Buttons Are Not Accessible On Maintenance Fluid Refund Page For Approver When He/She Is Trying to See Attachments (Doc ID 2936753.1)

Symptoms

After submitting an AR Refund maintenance worksheet with attachment to approval, when the approver is trying to check the attachment and the approval chain sections, after opening 1st the line details , the 2 informations are never accessed.

Issue can be replicated following the next steps :

1.Enable Refund Workflow for SHARE on Payment Options tab.

2.Check Approval Worflow for AR Refund (Menu > Enterprise Components > Approvals>Approval Process Setup.

3.Check User list ( Enterprise Components>Approvals>Approvals>User List Setup)

4.Check if the user VP1 is having checked the “worklist user” and “email user” and it has the supervisor assigned as VP2. Check the same for VP2.  

5.Make sure that you have the link define between customer 1005 and supplier USA0000005 (Customers>Customer Information> Create customer information)  and Suppliers>Supplier Information>Add/Update>Add/update Supplier.

6.On Setup Fin>Business Unit related>Receivables>Receivables Definition Accounting Options 2 tab, setup refund Distribution code.

7.Check if the Entry Type RC is present in the system if not create it (Setup Fin>Product related>Receivables>Options>Entry type).

8.Create Online Group entry (Menu >  Accounts Receivable> Pending Items>Online Item Group entry and set the group to post now.

9.Run AR update process (Menu >  Accounts Receivable> Receivables Update>Run Receivable process).

10.Check if the item in on Customer’s account (Menu > Accounts Receivable >Customer Accounts >Account Overview ).

11.Create Maintenance Worksheet for Item REFUND_LG1 customer 1005 (Menu >Accounts Receivable > Receivables Maintenance >Create Maintenance Worksheet). Choose the refund item and entry Entry Type RC and save.

12.Add an attachment and make sure that you have the “Show to Approver” checkbox checked.Save.

13.Choose Submit to workflow from Worksheet action. It is in Pending Approval.

14.Login with VP2 and from Notification section on the right notice that the maintenance 450 is waiting for approval.

15.Click WS_ID 450 pending approval.

16.Open the line details by clicking on the right arrow. Close then the line

details windows by clicking the x button.

17.Click on the View Attachment section to view the attachment. The window is not showed.

     Try to open the Approval Chain and notice the same issue.
