How to Identify Entities Remaining to be Manually Synced After Running Entity Property Sync (Doc ID 2938103.1)

Goal

Sometimes after running the full Entity Property Sync not all entities end up properly synced as expected. The normal steps to ensure a successful full sync are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR -->System Administration -->Entity -->Entity Property Sync and click the 'Sync All Entity Properties' button to run the process. If any problems are encountered in this step, click the 'Wipe Entity Cache' button first, then repeat.
  2. Click the 'Wipe Entity Cache' button (again, or for the first time) after the 'Sync All Entity Properties' completes successfully.

Entities that have not changed since the last time they were sync'd will be by-passed by design, and custom entities will likely always be by-passed.

Other  reason(s) for any or some entities remaining not synced, after completing the steps above, is not currently understood. An example of such an occurrence is referenced in the cause section of Note 2904607.1.

When this scenario is encountered, how can the remaining entities by identified and properly synced?
