HCM 9.2: When Applying Page And Field Configuration To Self Service Name Page, People Code Error is Triggered: "Variable contains a reference to a row object that has been deleted" (Doc ID 2938622.1)

Symptoms

The following error message is seen when re-editing the name from Self Service Name page.
This page has been configured in Page and Field Configurator.


Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Update the name format for English to include preferred first name field
Navigate to Setup HCM > Foundation Tables > Personal > Name Format Type :
Search for “format using” 001
Add preferred name field (6) in name format table.
2. Set up the page using Page and field configuration
Navigate to Enterprise Components > Page and Field Configuration > Page and Field Configuration
Search for Component Name: HR_EE_NAME_FL and make any change to the page.
3. Turn off the workflow
Navigate to Setup HCM > Common Definitions > Self Service > Workflow Configuration
4. Login as self service user and Change the Name.
Navigate to Self Service > Personal Details > Name
Change the name for the first time and Save.
Go back and change the name again, the above Error is triggered.
