Symptoms

Performing an upgrade from PT (PeopleTools) 8.56 to PT 8.60 using CM14 fails fails on database upgrade task.

The following can be seen when viewing the upgrade status:

 

The remote.log shows the below message:

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Cloud Manager and click on 'Environment' tile.
2. Open the environment details and click on 'Upgrade PeopleTools'.

 

Changes

 Run a PeopleTools Upgrade to a managed environment.
