Last updated on APRIL 11, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Mexico - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

As part of CFDI payslips MEX, government requests the employee name details on the file.
For one employee the first name is more than 30 characters.
Due to this, the full first name is not stored in the PS_NAMES table, where the FIRST_NAME field has the limit of 30 characters.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Biographical > Add a Person.
  2. Add the first name. The limit will be 30 characters.
  3. Run payroll process.
  4. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payslips > Print Payslips Mex and generate the CFDI XML file.
