E-IB: Pinging PeopleSoft Default Local Node Returns "Integration Broker Service: Unable to parse MIME request. (158,500) " Error (Doc ID 2942236.1)

Symptoms

On : PT 8.59.14 version, Integration Broker

After setting up Integration Broker (IB) in a new PeopleTools (PT) 8.59.14 environment, pinging the FSCM Default Local Node from the HCM environment returned the following error.



Steps to replicate:

1. Create the new environment, and set up Integration Broker (IB).

2. Log into PIA in the HCM environment, and navigate to the Node Definitions search page (Navigation: PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Integration Setup > Node Definitions).

3. Open the FSCM Default Local Node definition, click on the Connectors tab, and press "Ping Node".

4. Observe the errors above.
