Symptoms

After update to 9.2 PUM 44, we started experiencing an issue with the display of Control Chartfield values in the Budget Definition module.

Before the PUM update, all rows were auto-displayed without needing to click the Search button. Is this a bug?

The current state is as follows:

1. The Control Chartfield page rows are initially displayed up front for the newest effective date row, for example, 7/1/2023.
2. When you click to display Control Chartfield page rows for any prior effective date, the Control Chartfield page rows are not auto-displayed.
3. However, if the user clicks on the Search button - with no Search criteria - the rows are then displayed.

Having to click the Search button to display the Control Chartfield page rows impacts the user's ability to view and manage Budget Definition Control Chartfield values efficiently.

STEPS:

1.Log in to the PeopleSoft system with the necessary credentials.
2.Navigate to Commitment Control > Define Control Budgets > Budget Definitions.
3.On the Budget Definitions search page, enter the necessary search criteria, such as SetID, and ‘Control’ Ledger Group, to locate a specific budget definition, and then click the "Search" button.
4.In the search results, click on the appropriate budget definition to open it.
5.In the Budget Definition page, click the Control Chartfield tab.
6.Observe the issue: The Control Chartfield value rows are displayed upfront only for the newest effective date row (e.g., 7/1/2023), but rows for prior effective dates are not initially displayed.
7.Select a Previous effective dated row - "no" rows initially appear
8.Then click the "Search" button within the Control Chartfield section.
9.Notice that after clicking the "Search" button, the rows for prior effective dates are displayed.
