EPY: When an Employee has a Hire/Rehire Action, the Tax Distribution is Not Automatically Created on the Tax Distribution Page. (Doc ID 2943881.1)

Symptoms

 When an Employee is Hired or Rehired, on the Tax Distribution page the Employee Tax Data is created correctly, however, the Tax Distribution is empty.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Set Up HCM > Install > Installation Table.
  2. On Product Specific page, NA Payroll / Payroll Interface section, select Automatic Employee Tax Data option and save.
  3. On Set Up HCM > Product Related > Payroll for North America > Federal/State Taxes > Tax Location Table.
  4. Search the Tax Location Code.
  5. On State/Province/Locality page, verify the Tax Location Information. To reproduce the issue, this section needs to have 2 rows.
  6. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Job Information > Add Employment Instance and add a new employee. Tax Location Code needs to be the same used in step 5.
  7. Navigate to Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data.
  8. Search employee added in step 6, and  verify the data has been added automatically.
  9. Navigate to Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Tax Distribution.
  10. Search employee added in step 6, and  verify the data has not been added automatically.
