 Duplicate LPY accounting Entries Are Generated For Trans Code With Decrease In Scope option to Yes For An Amendment.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Add a Finance Lease (Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Crew New Payable Lease)and activate the lease.

2) Run Manage transaction generator process (Lease Adminstration > Integrations > Maintain Transaction Generator)

3) Run AMDPCALC on the asset.(Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation)

4) Run AMAEDIST process(Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Acctg entries)

5) Run AMDPCLOS process (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Close Depreciation process)

5) Add an Amendment and change the retire rentable area under Decrease in ROU tab.

6) Activate the amendment.

7) Rerun all the above processes.

Result: Duplicate LPY accounting entries generated in dist_ln. One row with blank trans code and another with "S".
