E-WL: Unable To Access PIA Outside the Windows Server Where WebLogic is Running (Doc ID 2944034.1)

Symptoms

PIA is not accessible outside the Windows server which runs the WebLogic domain. It loads fine within the host machine where WebLogic is running. If the WebLogic is shutdown and the IIS is configured to run on the same port as that of WebLogic on the same machine, IIS is accessible without any issues within and outside the server as well.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy the PeopleSoft application inside a windows server.
2. Open PIA inside the server, it loads fine. Try to open PIA outside the server to replicate the issue.
3. Shutdown the WebLogic domain and start the IIS to run on the same port as that of WebLogic domain.
4. IIS is accessible from both within the server and outside the server as well.
