When Searching for AIR Items With Certain Attributes the LOV Only Shows The Description (Doc ID 2944905.1)

Symptoms

When we assign an attribute, we can see (and search on) the attribute value.

However, when searching for AIR items with a certain attribute, we can only see the description. Which can be very hard to find in a potentially (and in
fact sometimes) very long list.

The dropdown list seems appropriate for LOV’s with adhoc values or translate values. But for an LOV based on a record or view, a field with lookup button
should be used.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps

1. Curriculum Management ->Academic Item Registry ->Academic Item Registry (AIR
2. Click on the LOV that uses a drop down list
3. Note that only the descriptions are shown
