Last updated on OCTOBER 06, 2023

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Query Manager after adding nine records, when using the grid "FIND" link
in the last record and typing anything to search for, and click ok, getting the following
message or the appserver session crashes. The message happens regardless of which record is the last record:

Message
Search string not found. (126,40)
The specified value was not found in any visible field of any row of the
current scroll.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Create a query that includes at least 9 records, like the following record examples:
ADM_APPL_RCR_CA
ADM_APPL_PROG
ADM_APPL_DATA
AID_YR_CAR_TERM
INST_CONTROL
STDNT_AID_ATRBT
ISIR_CONTROL
INST_STUDENT
INST_PARENT

NOTE: Join the records as needed with the recommended join.

2. Save the query as a public query

3. Then on the Query tab open the last record (i.e. "INST_PARENT" record) and use the "Find" link in the grid to search for a field name and observe the behavior.
