When Running the Refresh Compensation Process, the AE HR_CMP015 Fails with:"ORA-00907: Missing Right Parentheses" (Doc ID 2947689.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the Refresh Compensation Process with Group ID, the SQR Report CMP015 runs successfully, but the Application Engine HR_CMP015 fails with the following Error captured in the Error Log:

 Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Reporting Tools > Query > Query Manager: Add the Records GB_QRY_LINK_VW and JOB - EE History to the Query
In the Query Properties set the Owner to Public
2. Move to Query Tab and select the 4 Fields from the first Query GB_QRY_LINK_VW
o EFFDT
o EEFFSEQ
o EMPLID
o EMPL_RCD
and
select also few fields from the Record JOB - EE History.
3. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Group Build Definition : Create a Group and add the Query create at Step 1.
4. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Secure Group Build by Group : Assign the proper Security for the Group Build.
5. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Collective Processes > Refresh Compensation : Run the Refresh Compensation Process and add the Group ID create at step 3.
Notice: The Application Engine HR_CMP015 runs to Error.
