Last updated on APRIL 15, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll for North America - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Incorrect Paysheets for retro payments when a bonus is paid later, that retro payment would affect the hourly rate for the new bonus. The retro payments should always reflect the correct FLSA week. The amounts should load by FLSA week, not for the full pay period. In the Earnings tables sheet, the Effect on FSLA option is set up as eligible for Retro Pay.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1.Navigator > Set Up HCM > Product Related > Payroll for North America > Compensation and Earnings > Earnings Table

- earnings codes are FLSA eligible

2. Navigator > Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Create and Load Paysheets > Create Paysheets

- create Paysheets

3. Navigator > Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Calculate Payroll

- calculate the Payroll

4. Navigator > Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Confirm Payroll

- confirm the Payroll

5. Navigator > Payroll for North America > Retroactive Payroll > Retro Pay > Process and Review Requests > Retro Pay Calculation Results

Note: The amounts should load by FLSA week, not for the full pay period. If they got a retro payment then a bonus later that retro payment would affect the hourly rate for the new bonus. The retro payments should always reflect the correct FLSA week.
