HCM 9.2: The Updated Reports to Rows in Position Management are Not Being Displayed on Job Data for the Incumbent in the Position (Doc ID 2950757.1)

Symptoms

The updated reports to rows in Position Management are not being displayed on Job Data for the Incumbent in the Position. 

 

Error Message:

The EXPECTED_END_DATE cannot be less than the new Effect Date for the Job Data Row.


Expected Behavior

The Position Number displays the new effective dated rows with the correct Reports To on Position
and Person/Incumbent in position job page should display a effective dated row with new reports to change for the position.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Record current Reports to an employee
2.  Add a new effective dated row for a particular employee's position with reason code "Reports To/Supv Change."
3.  In the new position row, change the Reports To and submit it.
4.  The Position Number displays the new effective dated rows with the correct Reports To on Position
     but the job page display previous effective rows data(new reports to change does not sync with Job page)
