Last updated on JULY 31, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The cost of a Supplemental Life plan that uses an age-graded rate is calculating using the rate based on the employee's age that will not be attained until later in the year.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

     1. Calculate a payroll for an employee who is currently age 59 but will attain age 60 before the end of this year (Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Review Paycheck).
     2. Review the deduction on the calculated paycheck to see that it is using the wrong rate (Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Review Paycheck).
