GP/AM: GP_PKG_COPY Process Fails with Duplicate Key Error When Applying Global Payroll Maintenance or Migrating New Rules Package for Customer Created PINs (Doc ID 2955737.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to apply a Migration Package (Global Payroll or Absence), the GP_PKG_COPY process fails with the following error:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Access Document 943964.1 GP CORE: How To Export Or Migrate Global Payroll and Absence Elements.
  2. Create appropriate package according to instructions.
  3. GP_PKG_COPY process fails with above error.

It is not possible for the new PINs to be added to the production environment. If the new PINs were configured with elemental relationship to existing PINs, they (the existing PINs) will be affected as well.

Changes

This issue occurs when applying PIN maintenance.
