GPUK- National Insurance for Directors is Incorrectly Calculated when Directorship Ends. (Doc ID 2956978.1)

Symptoms

For an employee who paid National Insurance for Directors and then leaves the directorship, National Insurance is not calculated at all when the payroll is processed.
Instead, the normal calculation rules for his category should apply.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1.  Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain Tax Data GBR > Maintain Tax Data GBR and perform the actions below:

       - Select an employee already on directors National Insurance where the end date is blank.
       - Add the end date as the end of the previous period.

2. Navigate to Global Payroll and Absence Management >Absence and payroll processing >Calculate Absence and payroll and calculate the payroll for the current month.
3. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Review Absence/Payroll Info > Results by Calendar and check the payroll results.
4. Notice that the National Insurance is NOT paid (ensure the employee has sufficient niable pay).
5. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain Tax Data GBR > Maintain Tax Data GBR and add a new row effective start of the current open period.
6. Navigate to Global Payroll and Absence Management >Absence and payroll processing >Calculate Absence and payroll and re-run the payroll.
7. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Review Absence/Payroll Info > Results by Calendar and check the payroll results.
8. Notice that the National Insurance is NOT paid.
