Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After editing approved reported time on the Fluid Enter Time page, if the employee selects “Save for Later” after the edit, and then “Submit” the approval for that time becomes stuck and the manager is unable to approve. When the manager navigates to the Enter Time panel to approve time, they can see the time “Needs Approval”, but the approval row is grayed out and the manager is unable to select the time to approve.

Steps to Recreate:
Navigation: ESS > Time > Enter Time.
1. Approval is set for Reported Time.
2. Multiple job employee (empl_rcd 0) navigates to timesheet for current week 4/24/23 and select TRC and enter 8 hours M-F for the current period then clicks Submit.
3. Login as Manager – Navigate to MSS > Team Time > Enter Time - Filter on last Name then selects the employee. Manager drills down on current week for above Employee.
4. Then under Manage Approval on the timesheet page select one day 4/24/2023 only then Click the Approve button.
5. Login as Employee - Navigate to ESS > Time > verify job is appropriate one for time entered above then click Enter Time.
6. Edit the hours on day 4/24/23 to change the hours from 8 to 7 then click Save for Later. Note: Save icon displayed as expected.
7. Employee now clicks Submit. Note: Save icon has changed to Pending Approvals as expected.
8. Login as Manager – Navigate to MSS > Team Time > Enter Time - Filter on last Name, then selects employee and job title for time entered.
9. Navigate to week 4/24/23 then under Manager Approvals review day 4/24/23. Note the Reported Status is Needs Approval, but the checkbox is grayed out and cannot be selected to approve.
