PE: AIR Child Item Description Is Not Displaying the Most Current Effective Date Description For the Course. (Doc ID 2957162.1)

When adding a new effective dated row to the Course on a Course List Academic Item Registry - Items detail tab, and changing the Course description on one of the Courses, the new description  can be seen on the SSR_AIR page but not on the SSR_AIR_DTL page.
 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

In a demo instance navigate to
1 Curriculum Management > Academic Item Registry > Academic Item Registry.
Search and open course list:   Economics Year 1 Option A or open by item type : 00000001743.

2. Go to the 2nd tab "Item Details" and click on child item 397 Economics 1011 and add a new effective dated row dating it back a month ago. Modify the description, (SSR_AIR page) from ECON 1011: Industrial economics to "My new Descr effdt jan 2023".  Click apply and okay.

3. Go back to the Curriculum Management > Academic Item Registry > Academic Item Registry.
Search and open course list:  Economics Year 1 Option A  or open by item type : 00000001743.
Go to the 2nd tab and see that the description still reads  "ECON 1011: Industrial economics" on the SSR_AIR_DTL page.

Optional :   Drill down on the description :"ECON 1011: Industrial economics"   to see "My new Descr effdt Jan 2023" is the current description of the course.

4. Navigate to Curriculum Management > Academic Item Registry > Academic Item Registry. and reopen Course list Economics Year 1 Option A item type : 00000001743  and Add a new effective dated row use a date that is equal to or less than the date you added the new effective dated row to the child item details.

5. Go back to the Curriculum Management > Academic Item Registry > Academic Item Registry.
Search and open Course list Economics Year 1 Option A or open by item type : 00000001743.
Go to the 2nd tab and see that the description still says "ECON 1011: Industrial Economics" on the SSR_AIR_DTL page.

Drill down to see "My new Descr effdt Jan 2023" is the title of the course.
