E-FLO: WriteRecord Outputs Incorrect Length UTF8 Encoded Data via File Layout On Linux Only (Doc ID 2960167.1)

Symptoms

When using file layout to export data in UTF-8 encoding, it works on windows, but the data length is incorrect when run on a Linux process scheduler.

 

Sample Environment:

PeopleTools (PT) 8.59.12



Replication Steps

------------------

1. Log into Application Designer, and create a sample file layout (e.g. FL_CURRENCY).

2. Add CURRENCY_CD_TBL record to the file layout definition.

3. While still in Application Designer, open AEMINITEST, add the PeopleCode below, and save the change.

 

 

 Note: the incorrect number of space in description field on linux result
