ELA: When a Payable Lease Has Multiple Lease Amendments the Amortization Amount in the DEPR_RPT Table is Incorrect. (Doc ID 2962111.1)

For a payable lease with multiple amendments, the calculation of amortization amount in the DEPR_RPT  table is incorrect:

Example: if there are 3 Lease amendments then DEPR_RPT.AMORTIZATION_AMT=3 * DIST_LN.AMOUNT( where trans type is LPY( lease payment) and the distribution type is AA( Accumulated amortization)).

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Create a new Payable lease.
      Menu > Lease Administration > Payable Leases > create a new Payable Lease.
  2. Add an operating leased asset with asset.
  3. Add a base rent to be paid in advance and on first of each month.
  4. classify the asset as operational and allocate the lease payments, activate the lease.
  5. Add multiple amendments to the lease.
      Menu > Lease Administration > Payable Leases > Maintain Payable Lease.
  6. Generate Straight line schedule.
      Menu > Lease Administration > Integrations > Generate Straight line Schedule.
  7. Calculate depreciation for the leased asset.
     Menu > Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation.
  8. Run Load Depr Reporting table process.
     Menu > Asset Management > Financial Reports > Load Reporting tables > Load Depr Reporting table.

Review the replication steps and the demo data.
