Symptoms

An alter notification is configured to send email notifications with transaction links in it, to users who have created vouchers, but not submitted them for approval.

When the user clicks on the link from the alert notification, the regular entry page is in add mode, instead of opening the actual voucher.

Steps to replicate:
1.Create a PS query to fetch the list of vouchers that are not submitted for approval.
Menu > Reporting Tools > Query > Query Manager.

2. Create a new user list to which the email alert should be sent.
Menu > Enterprise Components > Events & Notifications > Alerts > User List Definition.

3. Create a alert definition.
Enterprise Components > Events & Notifications > Alerts > Alert Definition.

4. Enable Custom action.
Enterprise Components > Events & Notifications > Notification Framework > Notification Registry.

5. Run EONE_ALERT process.
Enterprise Components > Events & Notifications > Alerts > Run Alerts.

6. Click on the transaction details Hyperlink received over the alert email notification.
