E-PIA: Intermittent Data Integrity or XML Error Appears After Setting Up Configurable Search On Search Pages Based on Navigation Collection (Doc ID 2970226.1)

Symptoms

When selecting pages based on navigation collection, it does not display the search page. Instead, it is displaying the following error message on the page:

The issue starts happening after setting up Configurable Search for any component and it is intermittent.

Error:

"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below:"

In some pages, it shows "Data Integrity Error".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup Configurable Search for any component. To do this, go to PeopleTools > Utilities > Manage Configurable Search.
2. Navigate to a Fluid page/ Navigation collection. For example: Absence Management > Review Absence Balances or HR Administration > Workforce Job Summary.
3. Notice the XML error or Data Integrity Error appearing on the page intermittently.
