E-AS: Performance Issues Have Been Reported And PSAPPSRV Services Are Moving To ICPanels (Doc ID 2970694.1)

Symptoms

In PeopleTools version 8.58.xx and higher performance issues have been reported and in the TUXLOG.MMDDYY located under, <PS_CFG_HOME>/appserv/<domain>/LOGS" the following error appears:

- "ERROR: Unrecognized message magic"

- "ERROR: msgsnd err:(LIBTUX_CAT:669: ERROR: Message operation failed because of the invalid message queue identifier) errno=22,qid=1275068549,buf=4320109544,bytes=325,flag=2048"

- "PSAPPSRV.1169.1.-2: LIBTUX_CAT:1286: ERROR: tpreturn could not send reply TPEOS - operating system error"

 After the mentioned error message in the same log file there is another warning pointing to a request timeout:

 - "WARN: Disconnecting listener connection to Jolt client, request timed out"

Into application server "process_state.txt" and "peopletools_state.txt" crashes are reported only into "process_state.txt" located under "PS_HOME/appserv/domain/LOGS" where following error appears:

When encountering the reported environment behavior the users were not able to login into PeopleSoft PIA and in Tuxlog file located under "PSHome\appserv\domain\Logs" another error message was returned:

JOLT_CAT:1043: "ERROR: tpacall() call failed, tperrno = 6"

Changes

Changes have not been reported for PeopleSoft environment or operating system.
